Click the Download button on the exported room and the 3D model will automatically open as a new project in Palette CAD.

Does Metaroom have a free trial?
Yes, we offer a 10-day free trial of the Metaroom platform with no credit card required. During this period, you’ll have full access to the Pro package, including unlimited scans and all export formats.
How to download Metaroom 3D Scan App?
Metaroom Scan App is available only on the Apple App Store and works on LIDAR-equipped Apple Pro devices (starting from iPhone 12 Pro and iPad Pro 2020 generation). You can download the app for free by scanning the QR code or clicking here.
How to scan a room with Metaroom Scan App?
Start scanning from the corner of the room to capture the floor and ceiling. Move your Apple Pro device at a moderate speed, like in a video recording. The goal is to scan all walls, openings, and room-defining furniture elements until the preview 3D model is complete.
How to export a 3D room model to Palette CAD?
Access the Metaroom platform button in Palette CAD’s projects tab. In the pop-up window, log in to Metaroom platform and navigate to “Projects”. Then, find your exported room on the “Export” page and click “Download”. This will open the 3D model as a new project in Palette CAD. YouTube Webinar available here (German only).
How to redeem the promo code?
Navigate to the Metaroom platfrom’s Pricing page and select the Palette CAD package. You’ll be redirected to the checkout page where you can find the “Add promotion code” section on the left side of the page. Paste the promo code into the designated field and click “Apply.” Complete your purchase by entering your bank card details.
